This train uses SCMAGLEV technology, which stands for superconducting magnetic levitation. Because there is no direct contact with rails, friction is drastically reduced, allowing it to achieve extraordinary speeds. It almost feels like something out of a science fiction film, yet it is real and operational.
During the ride in Yamanashi Prefecture, he observed how silent and steady the train felt despite moving faster than many commercial aircraft during takeoff.
