A multi-party delegation of Indian Members of Parliament, led by Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, arrived in Moscow on the night of May 22, 2025, marking the start of a five-nation tour aimed at raising international awareness about India’s position on cross-border terrorism. The visit comes a month after the deadly Pahalgam attack that claimed 26 lives.

At Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar along with other officials. On May 23, the team is scheduled to hold meetings with members of the Russian Duma and representatives from the foreign ministry, as well as engage with leading local think-tank experts.

On May 24, they will address a press conference and interact with local media before heading to Slovenia, their next stop. The tour also includes visits to Greece, Latvia, and Spain, as part of India's intensified diplomatic outreach following the Pahalgam incident. This campaign follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s declaration of a “new normal,” under which any cross-border terrorist activity will now be treated as an act of war against India.
