It’s a big day for thousands of aspiring engineers and technicians in Telangana. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has released the Phase 1 seat allotment results for TS POLYCET 2025 counselling. After a delay from the original July 4 schedule, students can now log into tgpolycet.nic.in to discover which colleges and branches they've been assigned to.

POLYCET, the state-level Polytechnic Common Entrance Test, was held on May 13, with results declared on May 24. With the allotment now available, candidates must act fast: acceptance fee payment and online self-reporting begin today (July 15) and end on July 18. Following this, students have to physically report at their respective colleges.

For many, this is the result of months of hard work, coaching classes, and nail‑biting anticipation. Parents like Mr. Reddy from Hyderabad shared the relief which is noticeable in their homes: “She got her first‑choice branch in a decent college. It’s a relief and a new beginning,” he said.

The process, however, isn’t over yet. Those not allotted a seat can participate in further counselling phases. Meanwhile, the coming days are crucial: missing payment or reporting deadlines could mean losing the seat.

The DTE has published a revised schedule detailing fees, document lists, and reporting procedures. Students are advised to check the official website frequently to avoid missing any updates.

In a state rapidly expanding its technical education footprint, this round is only the beginning. For the lucky ones, the next step is orientation and classes. To others, future rounds offer fresh chances. Either way, it’s a moment of celebration, planning, and hope.
