The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the results for the SSC GD Constable 2025 recruitment exam. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held from February 4 to 25, 2025, can now access their results, category-wise cut-off marks, and merit lists on the official website, ssc.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 53,690 vacancies in various security forces, including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assam Rifles, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and Special Security Force (SSF).
To check the results, candidates must visit the SSC portal, click on the result link, and log in with their registration credentials. The merit list and cut-offs are available for download in PDF format. The CBT carried a total of 80 marks and included four sections: General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Hindi/English Language, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, each section carrying 20 marks. A penalty of 0.5 marks was applied for every incorrect answer. The examination was designed to assess candidates' general aptitude and preparedness for roles in paramilitary services.
Candidates who qualify the written test will now undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination. The PET includes a running test with different timing benchmarks for male and female candidates, while the PST evaluates height, weight, and chest measurements. Medical exams will confirm candidates' overall fitness. SSC has advised all successful applicants to frequently check the official website for updates regarding PET/PST schedules and further instructions. This marks a crucial step in the multi-phase recruitment process for securing positions in India’s key security forces.
