SSC CGL 2025 notification is set to be released today, June 9. Registration begins online for various Group B and C posts. Tier-I exam to be held in August.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 today, June 9. As per the SSC calendar, the application window opens today, and interested candidates can apply via the official website, ssc.gov.in. The last date for registration is July 4, 2025. The Tier-I computer-based exam is scheduled to be conducted between August 13 and August 30, while Tier-II is expected in December. The notification will also include the vacancy list, highlighting the department-wise posts under Group 'B' and 'C' categories in various ministries, departments, and constitutional bodies.
Graduates from any recognised university are eligible to apply. The application fee is likely to remain unchanged, with Rs 100 applicable for general category male candidates, while female, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen applicants are exempted. The recruitment process involves two stages of computer-based exams. Tier-I serves as a screening test, and Tier-II will determine the final merit. Post-exam, document verification will be handled by the concerned departments. Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks—30% for unreserved, 25% for OBC and EWS, and 20% for other categories—to move forward in the selection process.
Applicants are advised to thoroughly review the notification once released, check the detailed eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, and vacancy details before applying. Early registration is recommended to avoid technical issues closer to the deadline. The SSC CGL exam remains one of the most popular routes to secure prestigious government jobs in India, and this year’s schedule is crucial for aspirants aiming for a career in central government services.
