The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2025 examination on June 3. Candidates who appeared for the exam, conducted on May 4, can now access the answer key and their individual response sheets by logging into the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. The undergraduate medical entrance exam witnessed the participation of approximately 22.7 lakh students at over 4,700 centres across 557 cities in India and 14 international locations.
The NEET UG 2025 exam pattern was revised back to the pre-COVID format, eliminating optional questions. The paper included 180 compulsory questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a total exam duration of 3 hours. Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can raise objections online until June 5. Each challenge requires a payment of ₹200 per question, and the fee is non-refundable. Objections submitted without payment or through offline modes will not be considered.
Once the objection window closes, a panel of experts will evaluate the challenges. Based on this review, the final answer key will be published. However, individual candidates will not receive notifications regarding the acceptance or rejection of their objections. The NEET UG 2025 results will be declared soon after the release of the final key, determining admissions for courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS.
