NCERT has launched unique textbooks, which aim to arouse curiosity among the new generation students, which in line with the principles of NEP 2020. These books launched for classes 5 and 8 include "curiosity" (science) and "skill realization" (vocational education), as well as art, Hindi and English books such as "Kriti", "Malhar" and "Eastern".

This move shows a shift from rote memorization to unifies imagination, creativity, and conceptual clarity. The new art curriculum, for instance, mandates compulsory arts subjects from Class 8 Theater, Music, Drama, and Visual Arts as part of “Kriti”. These additions aim to cultivate well-rounded students who can think critically and act creatively.

Teachers are being upskilled through workshops and digital platforms like ePathshala, making sure they can guide fellows effectively through hands-on lessons. School principals are integrating interactive classroom tools to complement the content.

Parents have welcomed this change. He says that children now feel more connected and participate enthusiastically in the discussion. One mother said, "My daughter now asks 'Why' instead of just rote." This reflects the basic spirit of curiosity - the tendency to understand and question.

Although the guidelines and print versions are now slowly available, their digital versions are also expected to come soon on e-commerce and government portals. Also, feedback mechanisms have been created for the opinion of teachers and students, so that the material can be further improved.

This inclusive and curiosity-based approach shows a significant change from traditional, examination-focused education. If it is implemented correctly, it can promote a lifetime learning habit, where students will give priority to discovery and understanding rather than rote. Keeping the curiosity at the centre, NCERT classes are making classes in conformity with the skills of the 21st century and the innovative future of India.
