The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has officially announced that the results of the MHT CET 2025 for both PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) streams will be declared on June 16, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check their scores on the official website – cetcell.mahacet.org. The final answer key has already been released, while the provisional key was issued earlier on May 19.
This year, more than 7.64 lakh candidates appeared for the entrance exam across both PCB and PCM groups. Specifically, 2,82,737 out of 3,01,072 registered candidates took the PCB exam, while 4,22,863 out of 4,64,263 candidates appeared for the PCM group. The exams were conducted between April 22 and April 30 for PCB and from May 2 to May 17 for PCM. The test is a gateway for admission to engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and several professional courses in Maharashtra.
The MHT CET is a state-level entrance test conducted to facilitate admissions to undergraduate professional programs in government and private institutions. Following the result declaration, the counselling process will begin, during which candidates will be allotted seats based on merit, preference, and availability. In addition to MHT CET, results for other entrance tests like BBCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET and LLB 5-Year CET are expected on June 4, B Design CET on June 9, and LLB 3-Year CET on June 17.
