This year, Aryan Maan, a 24-year-old from Bahadurgarh, Haryana, has step into the spotlight as the ABVP’s official candidate for the post of DUSU President.

Maan has completed his graduation from Hansraj College and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Library Science at Delhi University. His connection with DU isn’t only academic over the years, he actively participated in various student movement. He protest against fee hikes, support accessibility initiatives, and consistent raised concern about the living and studying condition within campus space.

For the 2025 campaign, his agenda revolve around student welfare and practical, tangible improvement. He have promised subsidised metro pass to reduce transportation cost, expansion of free Wi-Fi zone, accessibility audit across college, upgraded sports facility, and financial aids to research scholar, particularly those in their final year.

Voting this year witness a record turnout of more than 1.55 lakh student, reflecting the growing political awareness among DU youths. Counting are scheduled on September 19, and the competition is tightly. Alongside Maan, other strong contender include NSUI’s Joslyn Nandita Choudhary and Anjali from the Left alliance.
