GATE 2026 exams are tentatively scheduled for four dates: February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026. Results are expected by March 19, 2026. Candidates can apply for one or two papers from the 30 available, including the newly introduced Energy Science paper under Engineering Sciences.

The application fee is ₹1800 per paper (₹900 for SC/ST/Female/PwD) during the regular window; with late fee, it goes up (₹2300 or ₹1400 respectively).
