CAT 2025 registration ends today; exam on November 30 with updated fees and center list.
Registration for CAT 2025 is closing today (September 20, 2025) at 5 pm, as candidate are urged to apply via iimcat.ac.in. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is schedule for November 30, to be conduct in three shifts across 170 city through computer-based testing. Applicants must choosing at least five preferred exam city; once the centres are allot, changes not permitted.
This year, the application fees has been increase: for SC, ST, PwD candidate, it’s now Rs 1,300 (up from Rs 1,250), and for all other candidate, Rs 2,600 (previously Rs 2,500). CAT score are accept by all 21 IIMs across India, for admission to MBA and other postgraduate management programme.
According to NIRF Rankings 2025, IIM Ahmedabad hold the top spot among MBA institute followed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. The article also outline the exam pattern: three section—Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). It notes session timing, slot structures, and PwD candidates gets slightly different time allocation per section.
Prospective candidate are remind that this is their last opportunity for register, and that thorough preparation across all section will be crucial.
