At just 14 years old, young cricket prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already made headlines for his performances on the international stage. However, this time the attention is not about cricket but about his decision regarding the Class 10 board examinations. Reports say that after his admit card details were leaked online, he has decided not to sit for the exams this year.
The admit card and examination centre information had reportedly been finalised and printed before being circulated online. The unexpected leak led to discussions among fans and observers, creating additional spotlight around the young cricketer. Despite the situation, his family and school authorities confirmed that Vaibhav will skip the CBSE Class 10 board exams scheduled between 17 February and 11 March 2026.
School officials stated that the registration and documentation process was completed properly and that his examination centre was assigned in Samastipur, Bihar. However, after discussions between his father and the school management, a mutual decision was taken to prioritise his cricket commitments this year. It was believed that balancing professional sports responsibilities with board exams was becoming difficult for him at this stage.
Vaibhav gained recognition during the Under 19 cricket tournaments, where his batting performances impressed many cricket fans across the country. With a demanding training schedule and frequent matches, his focus currently remains on developing his cricket career further.
The decision has received mixed reactions. Some people praised his dedication to the sport, while others questioned whether postponing academics might affect his future options. For now, his family seems confident that this choice is in his best interest, and they believe he will manage his education at an appropriate time alongside his sporting ambitions.
