Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is expected to be discharged from Apollo Hospitals in Chennai on Sunday, July 27, 2025, following a successful angiogram procedure. According to sources, the results were normal, and the Chief Minister is recovering well.
Mr. Stalin was admitted to the hospital on July 21 after experiencing a bout of dizziness during his regular morning walk. Subsequently, he underwent several diagnostic tests, including an angiogram at Apollo’s Greams Road facility, to evaluate the cause of his symptoms.
In a press release, Apollo Hospitals said the Chief Minister underwent a “therapeutic procedure” on July 24, based on the recommendation of a team of medical experts. The panel was led by renowned interventional cardiologist Dr. G. Sengottuvelu, who oversaw the diagnostics and treatment plan.
Hospital officials confirmed that Mr. Stalin is in stable condition and showing steady improvement. He is expected to return to his routine duties soon after discharge. The Chief Minister’s office has yet to issue an official statement regarding his recovery timeline.
