AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi urges UN and US to designate The Resistance Front as a terrorist group, backs Operation Sindoor, and calls for compensation for Kashmi
At an all-party meeting following India’s airstrikes on terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, AIMIM leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi urged a global campaign against The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy that claimed responsibility for the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
Owaisi lauded the armed forces and Operation Sindoor, suggesting India push for TRF’s designation as a terrorist organisation by the UN Security Council and the US. He also called on the UK to ban TRF and urged that Pakistan be placed back on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list. Referring to a February speech by Hafiz Abdur Rauf in PoK, Owaisi claimed terrorists are planning violence under the guise of jihad.
He emphasized the need to confront Pakistan diplomatically while reaching out to Kashmiri civilians. He urged the government to recognize displaced families in Uri and victims in Poonch as victims of terrorism, offer compensation, and rebuild their homes
