The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 match is scheduled for October 5 and will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The tournament kicks off on September 30, with hosts India playing their opener against Sri Lanka at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Due to ongoing diplomatic sensitivities, the World Cup will be played under a hybrid-hosting format, with India and Sri Lanka jointly conducting matches across multiple cities. Colombo will serve as a neutral venue for Pakistan’s fixtures, making the India-Pakistan clash one of the most eagerly awaited games of the tournament.

India's group stage schedule includes key matches against defending champions Australia and Bangladesh, taking place across venues in Bengaluru and Colombo. Pakistan, meanwhile, will play all their group matches in Colombo, facing off against Bangladesh on October 2, Australia on October 8, and other major teams like England, New Zealand, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. Australia begin their title defence on October 1 in Indore against New Zealand and will face arch-rivals England on October 22, also in Indore.

The 2025 Women’s World Cup features eight teams competing in a round-robin league format, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. A total of 31 matches, including 28 league fixtures and three knockout games, will be held across five cities—Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo. The first semi-final is set for October 29, either in Guwahati or Colombo based on Pakistan’s qualification status, followed by the second on October 30 in Bengaluru. The grand finale is scheduled for November 2, with the venue to be finalized depending on the teams that reach the final. This marks India’s first time hosting the Women’s ODI World Cup since 2013.
