Defence minister highlights operation success, declares readiness to act similarly if terror attacks recur again.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has hailed the bravery and courage of Indian Armed Forces, referring to a recent confession by a top Jaish-e-Mohammad commander. According to Singh, the commander admitted that Operation Sindoor inflicted serious damage on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan, undermining networks that were posing threats.
Singh used this confession to underscore India’s resolve: that if terror strikes again, the country will not hesitate to launch similar decisive responses. The minister praised the operation as evidence that Indian forces acted with precision and boldness, and said that the confession was proof things happened exactly as planned.
While talking, he emphasised that this was not just about operations but morale such operations send message to those planning violence, that India can and will act when needed. There was also suggestion that the success of Op Sindoor strengthens faith in security policies among both public and forces.
Though Singh thanked everyone involved, he also cautioned that peace is fragile: any resurgence of terror will trigger renewed crackdown. The statements reflect continuing focus on national security, counter-terrorism readiness, and clear warning to groups across the border.
