Modi marks 75th birthday by highlighting JeM commander’s admission; asserts India unafraid of nuclear threats.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a massive rally in Dhar on his 75th birthday, chose not just to celebrate but to reflect on a significant achievement in the fight against terror. He spoke about Operation Sindoor, a daring strike by Indian armed forces on May 7 that targeted Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) headquarters in Bahawalpur. Modi recalled how a senior JeM commander, for first time publicly, admitted that the family of their leader Maulana Masood Azhar had been devastated “torn into pieces” in those strikes.
Highlighting that admission, PM Modi said it shows a “New India” one that not only responds firmly to terror, but that does not cower under threats, even nuclear ones. He declared that the nation’s soldiers brought Pakistan “to its knees” in a blink of an eye.
The PM used the rare confession as proof that Indian operations are precise, impactful, and that terror hubs are not safe. He emphasised India’s resolve to strike terrorists inside their safe havens, regardless of what external threats are looming.
On this birthday, the message Modi sent was one of strength, vindication, and determination. It was less about politics today, more about reminding citizens that counter-terror actions are being acknowledged by adversaries themselves that, according to him, is the sign of success. He asked for prayers, but also for belief that India is no longer intimidated.
