An attender at Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital in Hyderabad has been booked for allegedly behaving inappropriately with a woman who was attending to a patient in one of the ward rooms.

The incident occurred on Monday (July 14, 2025), after which the woman filed a complaint with the Nallakunta police. Authorities have identified the accused as Sitaram.

According to the police, Sitaram is reportedly mentally unwell and is currently receiving treatment at the Institute of Mental Health in Erragadda.

In her complaint, the woman stated that while she was resting near her patient’s bed, Sitaram approached and acted in an inappropriate manner. Following the complaint, a case was registered and the accused was taken into custody.
