A unique example of humanity and compassion has emerged from the small village of Kyari in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district. Here, two brothers carried their sick cow on their backs for 3 kilometers through steep and slippery mountain paths to get her to a hospital. This effort, involving a 200-kilogram cow, is going viral on social media and bringing tears to people's eyes.
The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “Two brothers, one sick cow, and a tough mountain trail. They didn’t wait for help, nor did they complain. Only love and compassion guided them — and they saved her life. This is true humanity.”
In the video, both brothers can be seen taking turns carrying the cow on their backs using ropes, walking up a steep and difficult path. The route is extremely challenging, but their determination and love for the cow keep them going.
Social media users are responding emotionally to the video. One wrote, “God bless these real heroes.” Another commented, “This is true humanity.” Yet another user added, “If you want to know a person’s heart, see how they treat animals.”
This incident once again proves that kindness and empathy are still alive — we just need to recognize them.
