In the shocking case of the Meerut murder, Muskaan manipulated her lover, Sahil to help her in the killing by exploiting his weakness for black magic.
In a chilling twist to the Meerut story, the murder of an ex-Merchant Navy Officer, Saurabh Rajput, aged 29 was brutally killed by his wife and her lover, tons of tantric symbols and satanic graffiti were found in the accused Sahil Shukla’s room, purportedly indicating an "obsession with black magic".
SP (city) Ayush Vikram Singh said on Friday, "Muskan had been planning the murder since November 2024, and knew Sahil was superstitious and took advantage of his weakness to control him….Sahil’s involvement in Occultism is not evident yet, but once we find concrete proof, it will become part of the probe.
Saurabh was drugged, stabbed 10 times, and dismembered by his wife and her lover on March 4. Police revealed that Muskaan manipulated Sahil through fake Snapchat accounts, posing as his deceased mother and convincing him that someone had to die.
