Prime Minister Narendra Modi has commenced a significant 5-nation tour from July 2 to 9, with the aim of strengthening Global South ties and advancing strategic partnerships across continents. This marks Modi’s longest overseas diplomatic visit in the last ten years, reflecting India’s expanding global outreach.

The tour includes stops in Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia regions critical to India’s vision of collaborative global development. In Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, and Namibia, Modi will engage with top leaders, deliver parliamentary addresses, and discuss key areas such as health, security, and investment opportunities. These visits reinforce India’s commitment to bilateral cooperation with emerging economies of the Global South.

In Argentina, there will be subjects such as Prime Minister Modi's discussions with President Xavier Milli, such as trade, agriculture, important minerals and technology, which are in line with India's strategic partnership interests in Latin America. At the same time, the Brazilian trip will conclude from 5 to 8 July at the BRICS summit held at Rio de Janeiro. This conference offers India an important platform to deepen cooperation with emerging powers and focus on the direction and multilateral coordination of BRICS trade.Moving beyond symbolic diplomacy, this journey is being aimed at pursuing India's shared development goals through strong partnerships.
