Nearly five years after the tragic death of celebrity manager Disha Salian, the mystery around her passing continues to capture public attention. However, the Mumbai Police have now clearly told the Bombay High Court that their investigation shows she died by suicide and that no foul play was involved.

Disha reportedly fell from the 14th floor of a building in Mumbai’s Malad area on June 8, 2020. The police explained that according to the post-mortem and forensic reports, there were no signs of sexual or physical assault. Her fiancé and close friends, who were present that night, mentioned that she was under emotional and mental stress related to her personal and work life. She had also intake alcohol before the incident.

Despite these findings, Disha's father had filed a plea demanding a deeper study, alleging foul play and even requesting a CBI probe. He raised question about influential people probably being involved. However, the police stated there was no evidence CCTV footage, observed statements, or forensic evidence that highlights to anything other than suicide.

To ensure transparency, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been reviewing the case, and their conclusions so far align with the original police investigation. They continue to examine all angles but have not found anything to suggest otherwise.

Although public speculation and media headlines have kept the matter in constant discussion, the authorities have appealed people to trust the judicial process. The next hearing is scheduled on 16 July, where the court will further review the matter.

After all, this incident is reminiscent of the silent wars that many people fight within, and it is important to understand that the truth comes out not only on the basis of headlines, but only through facts and investigation.
