Patanjali introduces cost-effective e cycle offering long range and smart features.
Patanjali, mostly known for its FMCG and wellness products, now entered green mobility sector with launch of new electric cycle. This step is big for brand, targeting city commuters and people who want eco-friendly commute without spending too much. The Patanjali electric cycle is expected to make waves in affordable e-bike India market.
The cycle comes with lithium-ion battery which can go up to 200 kilometers in one full charge. This make it perfect not only for city travel but also for longer rides where charging point is rare. Another interesting thing is fast-charging, battery can get fully charged in just 45 to 60 minutes, saving lot of time.
It powered by 250W brushless hub motor and comes with multiple riding modes like Eco, City, and Power. Top speed is between 40 km/h to 55 km/h depending on mode. Riders can select pedal-assist or throttle mode giving flexibility how much effort they want to do.
For features and design, the cycle have 3.5-inch digital display which show speed, battery status, and trip distance. It also offers USB charging port, LED headlights and tail lights, mobile holder, and anti-theft system. Some model may have Bluetooth and music support for entertainment.
Safety and comfort also considered with dual disc brakes, ergonomic frame, and suspension system good for city roads. Price expected between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000, very competitive in entry-level electric bike price India segment.
Patanjali aims to encourage more people to use eco-friendly commute with this launch. If cycle perform as promised, it could disturb low-cost e-bike market and push other brands to offer better or cheaper options. Combination of affordability, practicality, and modern technology make Patanjali electric cycle interesting choice for urban riders. This step shows Patanjali also listen green mobility India demand and trying to provide sustainable transport solutions.
