US Vice-President JD Vance's India trip blends diplomacy and style. From temple visits to Taj Mahal, explore the Vance family’s cultural journey and Usha Vance'
During their four-day trip to India, US Vice-President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, along with their three children, made headlines not just for diplomacy but also for their fashion choices. Kicking off their visit at Delhi’s Akshardham temple, the Vances explored the Golden Triangle – Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.
Usha Vance, noted for her elegant style, wore a red Saloni bodycon dress paired with a white blazer and gold heels on arrival, and at the Akshardham temple. She later donned a burnt-red polka-dotted midi dress for her meeting with PM Modi, accessorizing minimally with a smartwatch and kitten heels. In Jaipur, she opted for a breezy white shirt and a printed beige-brown midi skirt inspired by Amber Fort frescoes.
JD Vance stuck to classic tailored looks, mixing formal and semi-casual styles suitable for both diplomacy and sightseeing.
Their children embraced traditional Indian wear, with the boys in kurta-pajamas and bandhgala jackets, and little Mirabel in Anarkalis and kurtis. Their attire beautifully represented cultural appreciation, adding a personal touch to the official visit.
