Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan D'Cunha, Director General of Army Air Defence, emphasized India's military strength by stating that the entire depth of Pakistan is within India’s strike range, referencing Operation Sindoor. In an interview with ANI, he asserted, “The whole of Pakistan is within range,” and added that even if Pakistan moves its army headquarters from Rawalpindi to places like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), it would still be vulnerable, needing to “find a deep hole” to avoid India’s reach.

Operation Sindoor involved precise strikes on key Pakistani air bases using advanced loitering munitions to target critical assets. Lt Gen D'Cunha highlighted that India possesses sufficient weaponry to strike across Pakistan, regardless of where targets are located—from border areas to deeper inside Pakistani territory.

He also discussed Pakistan’s drone offensive, revealing that around 800 to 1,000 drones were launched across the western border over four days. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, all armed drones were intercepted, preventing any harm to civilians. Lt Gen D'Cunha praised the joint defense operation, noting that none of the weapon-carrying drones managed to cause damage to civilian areas.
