Analysts say it underscores a broader trend in India’s IT industry—top executives increasingly earn compensation on par with global peers. While TCS CEO K. Krithivasan earned significantly less about ₹25 crore ($3 million) in FY 2024 Infosys’s Salil Parekh and Wipro’s former CEO earned middle‑range ties of approximately $6–7 million, positioning Vijaykumar firmly at the top.
