In the chaos, the woman’s father stepped in to defend his daughter, only to be assaulted in the melee. Video footage from CCTV showed the disturbing sequence a smashed window, a relentless pursuit, and unprovoked aggression that rattled the neighbourhood.

Her father quickly filed a formal complaint at the Hulimavu Police Station. In response, police have filed an FIR under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNSS) including charges of violent assault, trespassing, intimidation, and damaging property.

Law enforcement has launched a manhunt for the attackers, while increasing patrols in the area to curb similar incidents and reassure residents.
