Violence struck Manipur has started getting better and normalcy has started being restored - assured Amit Shah.
The Union Home Minister Amit Shah has assured that the situation in Manipur is gradually stabilizing and goods are returning to normalcy. Addressing the enterprises over racial violence that has gripped Manipur since 2023, Shah said goods are getting much better. dialogues are taking place singly with the communities and between them as well.
He said, “ Now, the situation is fairly peaceful. Normal life has progressed. The Home Ministry has held separate meetings with both communities, and they have also started talking to each other. goods are moving in a positive direction, and there is no reason for solicitude, ”
He further defended the timing of the duty of the President’s rule saying that it was executed at the right time to ensure its effectiveness, fighting allegations of a delayed response from the central government.
Speaking at the Times Now Summit 2025 on Friday, Shah emphasized that the government is making continuous sweats to restore normalcy in the violence- hit state.
