Just a few hours after the AI171 accident, the stall and "Don't Sink" alert in Air India's Boeing 777 flight going from Delhi to Vienna stirred up. The incident occurred during the takeoff of AI187 at 2:56 am on 14 June, when the aircraft took off in the stormy season.

Within minutes of takeoff, the aircraft's stick shaker alert warned the pilots of a possible stalls. The ground proximity warning system (GPWS) then alerted twice a "Dont Sink" alert, indicating that the aircraft was losing height rapidly.

According to reports, the aircraft had lost a height of about 900 feet. Initially, the pilots described it as a storm and did not mention stalls and "dont sync" warning in their report. But when the flight data recorder was examined, DGCA came to know the real situation. However, the pilots handled the situation on time and the aircraft landed safely in Vienna after a 9 -hour flight. DGCA has started a formal investigation into the incident. Both pilots have been removed from duty and the security head of Air India has been summoned.

Soon after the AI171 tragedy, the incident questions Air India's security systems. When the Stall and "Don't Sink" alert came once again in Air India Boeing 777, it was reminiscent of the importance of aviation security.
