The family of Kritika M. Reddy, a 28 year old dermatologist whose death earlier this year shocked Bengaluru, have donated her house in the city’s east area to the ISKCON Temple Trust. Unable to stay in the home filled with painful memories, the family decided to turn their grief into goodness by giving the house for spiritual purpose.

Kritika died in April under mysterious situation, which police is now investigating as a suspected case of murder due to anesthesia overdose. The postmortem and forensic reports found traces of an anesthetic substance, leading to a deeper probe and more public attention towards the case.

The family’s decision to donate the property is very emotional. Instead of keeping it as a painful reminder, they choose to make it a place of peace, prayer and healing. The house will now host spiritual gatherings and charity events, bringing some positivity out of the sadness.

Friends and neighbors have showed their support, calling it an inspiring act that shows how love can turn pain into purpose. The ISKCON trust has already accepted the house and said it will be used soon for religious and social activities.

For the family, this step means a move toward closure and a way to keep Kritika’s memory alive through kindness and service. In their words, it’s about finding light in the dark and giving her life a meaning that last forever.
