Toyota enthusiasts and SUV lovers are excited after fresh spy images of the next generation Toyota Fortuner surfaced online. The test vehicle, recently spotted during road trials in Thailand, hints at a much bolder and more muscular design compared to the current model. The sighting has sparked speculation about how Toyota plans to evolve one of its most popular large SUVs for global markets, including India.

It has been nearly a decade since the second generation Fortuner debuted in 2016, followed by a facelift in 2021. Now, Toyota appears ready to introduce a full redesign that could significantly refresh the SUV’s appeal. Even though the prototype was heavily camouflaged, its broader stance and sharper proportions suggest a more aggressive and commanding road presence.

From what can be observed, the front fascia may feature slimmer LED headlamps paired with a larger and more upright grille. The overall design seems more squared off and robust, enhancing its tough SUV character. Industry watchers believe the styling may draw inspiration from Toyota’s Hilux pickup, especially in terms of its upright posture and rugged detailing.
