A major accident occurred in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, when a mud hill collapsed. Five people lost their lives, and more than six others were seriously injured.
In the morning, some people were digging mud to paint their homes when the mud hill suddenly collapsed. The incident resulted in the deaths of five people, while over six others were injured and sent to the hospital, some of whom are in critical condition.
Upon hearing about the accident, villagers rushed to the site and started rescue operations. They worked hard to pull out the victims, but by then, five people had already lost their lives. The village is in mourning, and the families of the deceased are devastated. Police and fire brigade teams have arrived at the scene and an investigation has begun.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. He has instructed officials to ensure the treatment of the injured and wished them a speedy recovery. This accident raises serious questions about the lack of safety during mud excavation, and the administration has promised to provide assistance to the families of the victims.
