Bengaluru resident Padmanaban Ebbas, currently working as a Swiggy delivery agent, surprised many when it was revealed that he is a full-stack developer with nearly two decades of experience in the tech industry. Ebbas, who previously ran his own software company, is now delivering food while actively seeking to re-enter the IT field.

The story came to light when customer Nithin Kumar received an order delivered by Ebbas, who also shared his resume during the delivery. Kumar later posted about the encounter on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the story quickly gained traction. In his resume and a self-written note, Ebbas described his professional background, detailing his skills in web and mobile app development, UI/UX design, SEO, and video editing. His tech stack includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Flutter, Kotlin, and MySQL, alongside tools like Figma and Adobe Photoshop.

Ebbas’s move to share his resume during food deliveries reflects his determination to rebuild his professional life. He stated that while the current job is temporary, it allows him to “stand taller” with each delivery. The post has since gone viral, drawing attention from professionals and recruiters across India. Many users expressed admiration for his resilience and offered help in connecting him with job opportunities in the tech sector. His story is now being seen as an example of perseverance and the unpredictable nature of career journeys in today’s world.
