“We boarded the Vande Bharat Express to Surat. We were about 20-25 kms from Surat, and you can see the distance to the destination on a display inside the train, when a stone was hurled at the compartment in which Owaisi was traveling,” AIMIM leader Waris Pathan could be heard saying in a video.
“I was sitting next to Asaduddin Owaisi when a stone broke the window of the train. Not even a minute had passed when another stone was hurled at the compartment in which Asaduddin Owaisi was traveling,” Waris Pathan added.
