A woman in Meerut was involved in the gruesome murder of her husband has finally been arrested by the police.
A woman in Meerut, Muskan Rastogi, allegedly murdered her husband, Saurabh Rajput, with the help of her lover, Sahil Shukla. To cover up the crime, she posed as Saurabh and sent misleading messages to his sister, discussing Holi's plans. Suspicion arose when Saurabh’s sister's calls went unanswered.
Saurabh’s mother claimed their five-year-old daughter knew about the crime, telling neighbors, “Papa is inside the drum.” Police revealed that on March 4, Muskan drugged Saurabh, after which she and Sahil stabbed him to death, chopped off his hands, and sealed his body inside a plastic drum with cement. The couple then went on a holiday, telling neighbors they were traveling to Himachal Pradesh.
The crime came to light when Muskan’s mother informed the police, leading to the arrest of Muskan and Sahil, who later confessed. Saurabh, who had recently returned from London, had been living with Muskan and their daughter for three years. Muskan’s father claimed she was addicted to drugs, introduced by Sahil, and killed Saurabh because he opposed her addiction. He stated that his daughter deserved the death penalty.
