Mumbai: After the dreadful video of film producer Kamal Kishor Mishra allegedly ramming his car over his wife went viral, Mumbai Police arrested him. He was arrested after his wife filed a complaint wherein he was accused of hurting his wife's legs in the parking lot of their residential building in Andheri.

As per the complaint, the incident took place on October 19. Following the complaint filed by Kishor's wife at Amboli Police Station, the CCTV footage of the episode was retrieved wherein Mishra's wife was hurt and the police said that she had suffered head injuries.

The incident occurred when she was looking out for him and she found out about his alleged extra-marital affair in the basement of their housing complex, the police said. Mumbai Police mentioned that the wife was confronting Kishor when she found him with another woman in the vehicle.

As per visuals accessed by India Today, Kishor, with the aim of evading the situation, rammed his car over his wife.

"She (Kishor's wife) claims after the incident she suffered head injuries. We're searching for the accused. Further investigation is underway," Mumbai Police had said on Thursday.

A case under sections 279 (rash driving) and 338 (grievous hurt) of the Indian Penal Code was registered.
