After much anticipation, Salman Khan's film 'Sikandar' was finally released in theaters. A large number of fans and viewers turned up to watch the film. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film has received mixed reviews. It is being said that the film is not as special as the buzz around it suggested, but Salman Khan’s die-hard fans are still enjoying it. Meanwhile, the box office collection for the film’s opening day has also been revealed.

Sikandar Earns This Much

The advance booking for 'Sikandar' began on March 27, and by the first day, the film's bookings were going strong. With this, it was expected that the film would perform well on its opening day, and this prediction turned out to be true. According to trade reports, 'Sikandar' earned approximately 27 to 28 crores on its first day.

However, despite this solid collection, 'Sikandar' did not become the biggest opener of the year. Vicky Kaushal's film 'Chhawa' is still in the top spot, having earned 31 crores on its opening day, February 14. 'Chhawa' broke and set multiple records at the box office. As a result, 'Sikandar' has become the second biggest opening film of 2025.

When looking at Salman Khan's previous opening day collections, his 2016 film 'Sultan' earned 36.54 crores, and his 2023 film 'Tiger 3' earned 53.3 crores on the first day. Now, the question remains whether 'Sikandar' will set any big records at the box office in its first week or not.

The film features Salman Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Sharman Joshi, with 'Baahubali' actor Sathyaraj playing the villain role. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Salman Khan, with A.R. Murugadoss as the director.
