Shilpa Shetty Denies Link in rs 60 Crore Fraud

Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty has strongly denied any meaningful connection with her husband Raj Kundra’s firm in a high-profile rs 60 crore fraud case. She appeared before the Bombay High Court, requesting cancellation of a lookout circular issued against her, and argued that her role in the company was only nominal.

However, the court was unconvinced. The bench, led by Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad, turned down her plea. They insisted she must file a detailed affidavit supporting her claims. Moreover, the court suggested she could travel abroad only if she becomes a government witness (“approver”) in the case.

The court further directed that she and Raj Kundra first deposit the disputed rs 60 crore into court before any relief can be granted.

Shilpa maintains that she had no active role in operations and will cooperate fully with investigations.
