During the trailer launch of The King Of Bollywood, Raghav Juyal shared an amusing moment the audience might have misinterpreted. While touching Shah Rukh Khan’s feet an act many view as respect he was simultaneously on his phone. Why? Because Aryan Khan, directing the event, had instructed him to ignore SRK during that moment. 

Raghav admitted it felt odd, stepping into that traditional gesture while balancing the instruction and his own habit of touching feet as a sign of respect. He said when Aryan told him “ignore SRK on stage”, it threw him off momentarily. Having known that reverence from upbringing, acting that natural instinct felt instinctive, even if somewhat scripted.

The actor also praised Aryan’s direction style in The King Of Bollywood, describing how Aryan would enact characters himself and push actors toward capturing the right emotion through repeated takes. His detailed involvement has left strong impressions among his cast, including Bobby Deol.

The series, a satirical take on the Hindi film industry, features Lakshya Lalwani, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Bobby Deol, among others. It includes cameo appearances from big names like Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir Khan. It’s set to premiere on Netflix on September 18.
