Mumbai: As megastar Amitabh Bachchan ringed turned 80 today, wishes poured in from all corners. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted Big B by sharing a heartfelt note on his Twitter handle.

“He is one of India's most remarkable film personalities who has enthralled and entertained audiences across generations. May he lead a long and healthy life,” Modi said, wishing him a very happy birthday.

‘Goodbye’ actor’s daughter Shweta Bachchan shared a bunch of pictures featuring her adorable moments spent with her father.

Apart from Shweta, Amitabh's granddaughter Navya, too, penned a heartwarming post for him on his 80th birthday.

She took a stroll down memory lane and dropped her childhood picture with her 'nana'.

Superstar Rajinikanth also greeted Big B on his 80th birthday.

It’s worth stating here that even at 80, Big B is one of the busiest actors as he remains in demand in the Hindi film industry while continuing to spearhead the highly successful TV series 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' year after year.
