Rohit Basfore, a star of the upcoming series Family Man 3, tragically passed away, as confirmed by HT. His body was discovered near Garbhanga Waterfalls on Sunday, April 27, according to a report by Guwahati Plus.
Initial investigations suggest that Rohit accidentally fell into the waterfall while on a picnic with nine colleagues. The incident occurred around 2 pm, and the Rani Police Outpost officials were notified around 4 pm. A team from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) recovered his body by 6:30 pm.
Police have stated that no foul play is suspected at this stage, and Rohit's body has been sent for a post-mortem. An investigation is ongoing.
Rohit had been sharing behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of Family Man 3 on Instagram. In November, he posted photos with Jaideep Ahlawat and Dalip Tahil, expressing how grateful he was for the experience. Earlier this year, he shared more set photos, describing the filming experience as rewarding and a great opportunity to learn.
