Marking 25 years of the beloved film Dhadkan, stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Shilpa Shetty celebrate its silver jubilee with a theatrical re-release on

Actors Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Shilpa Shetty are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their film Dhadkan with a special re-release of the "timeless tale of love."

Akshay shared the film’s poster on Instagram, announcing, “A timeless tale of love and emotions is back on the big screen on 23rd May.”

Shilpa also posted the poster, marking the silver jubilee and urging fans to book tickets for the May 23 re-release. She added a memorable line from the movie:
“Main tumhe bhool jaun yeh ho nahi sakta, aur tum mujhe bhool jao yeh main hone nahi doonga.”
She added, “PS: This one still makes my heart beat.”

Suniel Shetty shared the poster as well, with a caption similar to Akshay’s.

The film also stars Mahima Chaudhry, Sharmila Tagore, Parmeet Sethi, Kiran Kumar, Sushma Seth, and Manjeet Kullar.

Dhadkan, loosely inspired by Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, tells the story of Anjali and Dev, who are deeply in love and plan to marry, but her family forces her into marriage with Ram. Years later, Dev returns to win Anjali back, but she has grown fond of Ram.

Despite a four-year delay before its release in 2000, Dhadkan received positive reviews and became a major box-office success.

Its soundtrack was the second best-selling album of the year, trailing only behind Mohabbatein, which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
