Ameesha Patel Faces Legal Trouble Despite Settlement Claim

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel is once again in the news due to a legal issue that has resurfaced after several years. A court in Moradabad has issued a non bailable warrant against her in connection with a cheque bounce case reportedly involving Rs 4.5 lakh. The matter dates back to 2017 and is related to an event appearance dispute.

According to the complaint, Ameesha Patel was paid to attend a wedding function but allegedly did not appear at the event. It is claimed that only a partial refund was given and the remaining amount was issued through a cheque that later bounced. Because of this, legal proceedings were initiated against her.

The recent development came after she reportedly failed to appear before the court despite receiving summons. This led the judge to issue a non bailable warrant, making her court appearance mandatory.

However, Ameesha Patel’s lawyer has stated that the matter had already been settled between both parties years ago. Her legal team insists that there was a mutual understanding and resolution, and they have expressed surprise over the fresh legal action. The actress has also reacted, saying she was shocked to learn that the issue had escalated again despite what she believed was a completed settlement.

The case has once again drawn public attention, especially because of her celebrity status. As of now, she is expected to respond legally and appear before the court unless her lawyers manage to resolve the situation through proper legal channels.
