New Delhi: On the completion of 2 years of National Education Policy (NEP) 2022, FELA Foundation organized a National Education Summit titled MANTHAN (A Positive Step: New Education Technologies). The event marked the presence of numerous vice-chancellors, chancellors, deans, registrars of universities across the nation, and many more. They were seen sharing their opinion on vital education topics that has been emphasized by the Government of India through NEP.

There were four panel discussions held in the Education Summit including-

  • First Panel Discussion- Promotion of Indian Education Systems in the 21st Century to become a Global Knowledge Centre of Education.
  • Second Panel Discussion- Governance and capacity building of teachers for new education technologies.
  • Third Panel Discussion- Skill development and employability of students.
  • Fourth Panel Discussion- ‘NEP 2020- Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship’, a conducive ecosystem to energize research and innovation in the system.

The first panel discussion saw vice-chancellors including Dr. Tankeshwar Kumar (Vice Chancellor Central University- Haryana), Dr. Sandeep Sancheti (Provost, Marwad University, Gujarat, Ex AIU Chairmen), Dr. Sunil Rai (Vice Chancellor, UPES University), Dr. Parvinder Singh (Vice Chancellor, RBU University) and Moderator Dr. Manjula Jain (Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Uttar Pradesh) present their views on ‘Promotion of Indian Education Systems in 21st Century to become a Global Knowledge Centre of Education'.

The luminaries were seen exchanging ideas about how education technologies help in developing a strong education system. Besides, they also gave prime focus on encouraging digital education and the formation of digital infrastructure across the country.
