In a much-awaited announcement, the government has officially confirmed the 20th instalment date of the PM farmer. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will send this amount 2 August 2025 directly to farmers' bank accounts, which will prove to be an important financial support for crores of farmers across the country. The scheme, which is formally called Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, provides direct income assistance of ₹ 6,000 to farmers annually, which is divided into three equal instalments. The upcoming 20th instalment takes forward this commitment, in which PM Modi is ensuring that this amount reached the farmers at the time of Kharif sowing.
