US’s former President Donald Trump said that he would be making a ‘very big announcement’ on November 15 by the time the midterm poll results would get apparent. Trump’s statement came after Joe Biden’s closing remark ahead of the midterm polls on Tuesday. Biden warned that Republicans winning the election could dilute the country’s democratic institutions.

Biden's unpopularity has made him an unwelcome guest in the most competitive races. On Monday, he spoke in reliably Democratic Maryland, where the Democratic gubernatorial nominee, Wes Moore, is widely expected to win back the Republican-held governorship, reported Reuters.
