Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police DGP RR Swain termed the killing of “such a large number” of terrorists as a marvelous achievement by the security forces, adding the success has been a testimony to the strengthening of security measures and community involvement in giving intelligence.

Brigadier Prithviraj Chauhan, Commander of 1 sec RR said, “It is because of these operations that the backbone of groups like Hizbul-Mujahideen has been broken in South Kashmir.” The Indian Army also paid tributes to Lance Naik Pardeep Kumar and Sepoy Pravin Janjal Prabhakar, who lost their lives in the anti-terror operations in Kulgam on July 6, 2024.
