New Delhi: Scholarships are a blessing for meritorious students who may be financially weak. Not only can they give you the opportunity of studying in top-notch colleges and universities, but also give you access to peers who challenge you along with brilliant mentors, and even industry experts at times.

Scholarships can be general or specific to certain ages, gender or economic backgrounds of students.

1. Credit Suisse Scholarship for Mba And Ma (Economics) Students 2022

Applications are invited from students enrolled in MBA/MA (Economics) courses in selected institutions.

The scholarship aims to provide the necessary financial support which can help qualified candidates bridge the gap between the cost of the program fees and their ability to pay the fee.


Applicants must be enrolled in MBA/MA (Economics) programmes at one of the designated institutions.

They must have passed Class 12 or graduation and scored at least 60% marks or above.

Demonstrate significant financial need, defined as family income less than or equal to INR 500,000 per annum (subject to verification)

Prizes and rewards: Up to 80% of total fees or a fixed sum of up to INR 200,000, whichever is lesser

2. Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship And Mentorship Programme For Sportsperson And Individuals

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. is giving young students an opportunity to pursue their academic/career aspirations by providing them with scholarships for education.

This scholarship program aims to provide foundational support to individuals, who are deserving and meritorious but may lack the resources to pursue their dreams.


For individuals helping others, the applicants must be graduates and involved in activities like teaching a group of underprivileged children or providing sports training to them.

For sportspersons, applicants must have represented the state/country at the state/national/international level in the last 2/3 years. They must be ranked within 500 in the national ranking/ within 100 in the state ranking. They must be aged between 9 and 20 years. The annual family income of all applicants must be less than INR 5 Lakhs per annum.

Prizes and rewards: Selected scholars can avail scholarship award of INR 75,000 per year for up to 3 years.

3. Saksham Scholarship Programme For Drivers’ Children

Mahindra Finance invites applications for the ‘Saksham Scholarship Program for Drivers’ Children’ from students belonging to Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Telangana.

The scholarship is meant to support underprivileged and meritorious children of drivers (all light motor vehicles and small commercial vehicles such as taxi, jeep, car and delivery vans such as Pickup, magic, school van etc) holding a valid driving license who are studying in Class 1 to postgraduation level.


The applicants must be currently studying at Class 1 to postgraduation level in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Telangana.

Applicants who are pursuing studies from Class 9 onwards must have scored 60% or more marks in the previous final examination.

The annual family income of the applicant from all sources must not be more than INR 4,00,000.

Prizes and rewards: Scholarship ranging from INR 5,000 to INR 20,000 for 1 year
