Reliance Foundation Invites Applications for Undergraduate Merit Scholarships 2023–2024

Applications for merit-cum-merit scholarships for first-year undergraduate students are now being accepted by the Reliance Foundation. The scholarship aims to offer a reward of up to Rs 2 lakh as well as the chance to join an encouraging support network and a thriving alumni network. By October 15, students enrolled in first-year UG studies in any branch during the academic year 2023–2024 may apply to receive this award. Students are chosen for the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship based on merit-based criteria for UG college education, allowing them to continue their education without worry about finances.

According to an official statement made in this regard, the scholarships are intended to help students fulfil their ambitions of becoming professionals, improve themselves and their communities, and contribute to India’s future socioeconomic development.

“India has the biggest proportion of young people in the world, and our young people have tremendous potential to lift the country to new heights. Our goal at Reliance Foundation is to increase access to and opportunities for high-quality education.

According to Jagannatha Kumar, CEO of Reliance Foundation, “We are firmly committed to assisting young people in realising their aspirations and enabling them to contribute to India’s growth.”

Selected students will receive grants of up to Rs 2 lakhs under the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships scheme for the duration of their studies.

The scholars will also have access to a dynamic alumni network and a supportive structure that will enable their holistic development. Applications from girls and those with impairments are encouraged by the programme. The outcome of an aptitude exam, Class 12 grades, home income, and other eligibility requirements will determine the candidate’s selection.

Almost 100,000 students registered for the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2022–2023; of the 5,000 scholars chosen on the basis of eligibility and performance on the aptitude exam, 51% were women, and 97 scholars had disabilities.
