Maoists Killed in Fierce Encounter with Security Forces

In Konta, Chhattisgarh, ten Maoists were killed in a clash with government troops. According to Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan, the altercation occurred in the Bhejji region early on Friday morning.

Three automatic rifles were among the several weapons seized by security personnel from the sport.

This operation was started by the District Reserve Guard (DRG) after receiving information that Naxalites were traveling from Odisha into Chhattisgarh.

However, the encounter’s existence has been verified by Bastar Inspector General P Sundarraj. Details on the kinds of weapons collected and the number of victims, however, are yet unknown.

An intermittent exchange of fire is still underway, as per news agency PTI.

In a jungle along the Narayanpur-Dantewada border in Chhattisgarh, security forces shot and killed 31 Maoists last month. Numerous assault rifles were found, along with other weapons including the AK series.

One of the security forces’ greatest victories in the conflict with the Maoist insurgency in Chhattisgarh is this encounter.
